This fun and engaging camp with Mrs. Sikora will teach American Sign Language (ASL) through vocabulary games, crafts, and creative role play!  Current research has shown that hearing children who learn ASL while young, tend to show advanced articulation, language, and spatial reasoning skills as they mature.  Since Cleveland has a large deaf community, many WCA students are using their sign skills to encourage deaf people they encounter.  Parents are welcome to attend camp and learn ASL along with their student.  Upon completion of the camp, students will receive a special ASL item to take home with them.

This fun and engaging camp reinforces foundational grammar skills with a space-themed twist! Mrs. Wolff will lead an exploration of God’s Universe through a variety of exciting hands-on activities! These include space-themed snacks, crafts, and books. Students will make fun items to take home with them. To wrap up each day’s experiences, we will construct and analyze sentences based on the day’s space-themed creations! This is a perfect camp for space lovers who also want to brush up or stay sharp with grammar skills over the summer.

Full STEAM ahead with Mrs. Maddox! This camp is focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. It is guaranteed to be a fun, hands on, problem solving adventure! You will create different structures with a variety of materials and discover new ways to solve problems. You will have fun working with your friends to complete challenges each day!
