AFTERNOON Summer Camps
Baking 3rd-4th PM
with Morgan Abbuhl

Your student will learn the basics of baking and take home sweet treats daily! Yes, this camp sends home recipes and inspires your child to have fun in the kitchen with baking!
*Please note, baking camps may use ingredients such as wheat, eggs, dairy, peanut butter, etc. and are unable to accomodate for allergies at this time.
Messy Art 2nd-4th PM
with Candy Maddox

This camp will engage all the senses in creative expression! Students will love getting to test out new techniques or well-loved ideas without the fear of making a “mistake”. Parents will love seeing students use their imagination and experiment with messy materials not at home!
Squish and Splatter 4th-8th PM
with Alisha James

This will be WCA’s first Squish & Splatter camp with Miss James! This camp will be full of those messy activities that might be a little too messy to do at home. Campers should wear old clothes and wear lots of sunscreen. At Squish and Splatter camp, campers will be creating unique abstract art through a variety of methods and learning how to work together to create some masterpieces. At camp we will be doing some cool splatter painting, playing a variety of painting games. We’ll do some sidewalk painting with brushes, sponges, and maybe some toes too! We will end camp for the week with some Twister with a painting twist and a team water paint war on the lawn (bring clothes you don’t mind getting colored, bring white clothes if getting them colored is your goal!) Goggles will be provided for each camper, safety first!
Cheer Dance K-3rd PM

Girls are welcome to attend this fun-filled week of learning all the essential skills of cheerleading! The focus of the camp will include cheers, chants, motions, jumps, basic tumbling, and dance. Campers will also enjoy fun games and team building. The week will conclude with a choreographed routine performed for family and friends and campers will go home with a cheer bow!
Fiber Arts & Crafts 4th-8th PM

Cozy up with fiber crafts in this relaxing camp. We will be making several crafts out of different materials like yarn, fabric, felt, etc. We will learn techniques like weaving, string art, macrame, sewing and more. Each day you will go home with a soft and unique craft made by you
Jewelry Making 4th-6th PM

An intensive on beading and friendship bracelet making using embroidery floss, your student will learn how to make different forms of jewelry. This hobby is both relaxing and a wonderful outlet for creativity!
Architecture 3rd-6th PM

Soaring towers, sturdy bridges, and beautiful buildings. How do architects design and build these structures? Let’s learn and build together.
Sensory Seekers K-2nd PM

This camp is designed for those kiddos who love playing and getting messy. We will be making taste safe sensory experiences and getting to play with them daily. This will be a wonderful opportunity for your child to have sensory play, and yes we will send home recipes!
